This Privacy Policy describes how Tummy Scanner ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

What We Collect

Tummy Scanner collects a small amount of anonymous usage information to help us understand which parts of the App people use and to find bugs. Specifically, we collect:

• Anonymous usage events — for example, that a scan was started, that a screen in the introduction was viewed, or that a theme or language was changed.
• Anonymous error reports — technical details about crashes and failures inside the App, so we can fix them.
• Basic technical information — app version, device type, operating system version, and general device locale.

Each installation is given a randomly generated identifier so that these events can be grouped into a single session. This identifier is not connected to you, and it is regenerated if you delete and reinstall the App.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
• We do not record your screen, your camera, your microphone, or anything you type.
• We do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA), advertising networks, or cross-app tracking of any kind.
• We do not create user accounts or user profiles.
• We do not collect any health information. The App does not measure anything about your body.

Who Processes This Data

Anonymous usage and error data is processed on our behalf by PostHog, a product analytics provider, on servers located in the United States. PostHog acts as our data processor and does not use this data for its own purposes. You can read their privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google through their respective app stores, and by RevenueCat, which manages subscription status on our behalf. We never see or store your payment details.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with anyone else.

How Long We Keep It

Anonymous usage and error data is retained for a limited period and then deleted. Because the data is anonymous, we cannot link it back to any individual.

Entertainment Purpose Only

Tummy Scanner is designed solely for entertainment purposes. The App:

• Is not a medical device and should not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or health monitoring.
• Does not provide medical advice of any kind.
• Should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation.
• Makes no claims regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information presented within the App.

The percentage shown at the end of a scan is generated by where you move your finger. It measures nothing.

Children's Privacy

Tummy Scanner is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. It is not distributed in Apple's Kids Category.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous usage and error data described above contains no personal information, no identifiers that persist across reinstalls, no advertising identifiers, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and it is never used to build a profile of any individual or to target advertising. We believe this is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

Data Security

The data we collect is anonymous and is transmitted over encrypted connections. Your preferences — your chosen theme and language — are stored only on your device and are never transmitted.

Your Rights

Because the data we collect is anonymous and not linked to any identity, we are not able to locate, retrieve, or delete the data of a specific person on request. Deleting the App removes all locally stored app data and stops any further data being sent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
